I created this recipe several years ago to enter a Chili Cookoff and I won second place! We called it GG's Can't Quit Eating Chili because it is so good you really can't quit eating it!

Ingredients
2lbsground chuck
1 lbbulk sausage (mild or hot)
1eachonion, chopped
2clovesminced garlic (1 tsp)
3tbspchili powder
1tbspcumin
1cantomato paste (6 oz)
2cansRanch beans (black label)
2cansChili beans (pinto in mild sauce)
2cansdiced tomatoes (or 1 can tomatoes & 1 can Rotel)
1cupketchup
1tbspsugar (or 2 packets of Splenda)
1/2tspsalt
1/2tspblack pepper
8-10dropstabasco sauce
1 or 2cupswater (optional if chili is too thick)
Instructions
Brown beef and sausage and onion in skillet
while meat is cooking add all other ingredients into crockpot
drain excess fat from skillet and then add meat/onions to crockpot
stir well so that all ingredients are mixed together. Place top on crockpot and turn it on HIGH. Let it cook for 2 to 3 hours until bubbly and hot.
Serve with extra jalapenos and cornbread on the side. Top each serving with some sour cream and grated cheddar cheese. Delicious!
