Perfect Pecan Pie

This is an easy way to make Pecan Pie, especially if you don't have any Karo Syrup in your pantry. Once you make it this way, you might not ever go back to using the traditional recipe!

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp plain all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Melt Butter in microwave
  • mix flour and sugar together in a mixing bowl
  • add in melted butter, buttermilk, vanilla then add eggs one at a time beating well.
  • Add pecans in last and beat until just well blended.
  • Pour mixture into prepared pie shell.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
